1970s
After getting his start as an electrician in Michigan in the 1970s, Gary Hoover started out his fledgling business small, as he and his Hoover team provided electric services to commercial properties.
1980s
In 1980, Hoover founded what has proven to be one of the most trusted names in the electrical industry: Hoover Electric, Plumbing, Heating & Cooling.
And Beyond
After great success in the electrical industry, Hoover realized the demand for full-service contractors. Michigan’s changing economic environment meant Hoover had to make a choice. He decided to diversify his business, adding plumbing repair services and heating and cooling services to the roster of offerings for Southeast Michigan residential clients.

I had a broken toilet that needed to be replaced very quickly. I called and they sent someone to my house to provide an estimate, and had a new toilet on site and replaced all within 4 hours of me placing my call, and the cost was several hundred dollars less than what I anticipated.
They even texted me a picture and short bio of the guy they were dispatching so I knew who to expect.
